Jane Higgison
Jane studied textile design at Hammersmith in the early 70’s and had a successful career as a freelance Textile Designer spanning over 25 years working for numerous fashion labels including M&S, John Lewis, Carrington Vyella and Jaeger. Jane still works as a freelance designer (and gardener) and lives in her delightful cottage in Church Lane, East Finchley with Rosie & JP (her cat and dog) and she has one of the prettiest gardens in the area.
Jane’s images have evolved from her numerous photographs taken on holidays spent across Europe. Her pictures have been digitally transformed and the resulting imagery blurs the boundaries between photography and abstract art. This effect has been achieved after hours of experimentation on the computer using the countless techniques textures colours and filters. These photo images have been produced into a wonderful range of handmade prints and cards
